Casina de Vigneto is a traditional country house immersed amongst the magical scenery of Castello Monaci. Over 100 years old, it has been refurbished to the highest luxury standards in a traditional style using only local materials. The Casina is set within the grounds of the Castello Monaci, a rare medieval castle which today hosts receptions and gala evenings and is a renowned producer of high quality wines, such as Negramaro, Primitivo and Salice Salentino. It is perfect for those looking to unwind far from the strains of daily life.

The fine sandy beaches of the Ionian coast, such as Porto Cesareo, Punta Prosciutto, Torre Lapillo and Gallipoli, are only a few kilometres away. You will also find fascinating archeological sites and museums only a few minutes by car; there is always something to discover amongst the dry white walls and red earth of the Salento countryside, spotted by age-old olive trees. You can visit the charming baroque city of Lecce, which is only 38 kms from Casina de Vigneto, and enjoy the capitals, balconies and coats of arms lovingly fashioned from the soft, golden leccese stone.
