Psema, Alithia and Elià are the names of the units of Le Dimore di Hanqorias, bed and breakfast in Muro Leccese, in the heart of Salento. The units are cozy and refined, with barrel-vaulted ceilings, tetto a cannizzo (bamboo ceiling), fireplaces that date back from XVI and XVII century: these elements are typical of Salento and are proofs of the evolution of these units.

Suite Psema consists of a 55-square-meter open space. This unit can accommodate up to 6 guests. The living room with kitchenette is cozy and bright, with many architectural details such as the fireplace that dates back to the XV century and warms the Winter nights. The sofa bed is the sleeping accommodation for 2 guests.
The hallway with wooden ceiling can become a double bedroom or a twin bedroom. The master bedroom is on the olive-wooden mezzanine floor from the XVII century, a nest-like room with barrel-vaulted ceiling that is cozy, romantic and ideal for two guests. The studio apartment Alithia is framed between two stone arches and it`s the ideal solution for a couple`s getaway. It consists of a double bedroom, a small but convenient kitchenette and a bathroom, which is covered with Palladian cobblestone, made unique by the shower under the pillar of an old balcony. Elià is a 55-square-meter open space loft with wooden mezzanine floor and typical tetto a cannizzo (bamboo ceiling), typical of the buildings in the old town centre of Muro Leccese. It is furnished with design elements which make it unique and will make you feel at home. There is a majestic renovated fireplace that dates back to 600. The staircase is a iron sheets, specifically made for Elià.
The mezzanine floor has access to a small terrace with view on the town park. The colors of the cementine tiles in the bathroom are exalted by the shower with chromotherapy. Each element was imagined to make Elià a superior suite. The guests have at their exclusive use the 600-square-meter garden with fruit threes. Alithia and Psema, two of the units that are part of the bed and breakfast Le Dimore di Hanqorias, are by the Piazza del Popolo in Muro Leccese, one of the most beautiful squares in Salento. The two apartments, today are fully-equipped units for holidays in B&B, once were part of the building where the bishop Ferramosca lived. They overlook a small square and are framed by the Prince`s palace with moat, the Protononilissimo hypogeous olive-press, the Church dedicated to st. Joseph and the ancient Borgo Terra.
The third unit of B&B Le Dimore di Hanqorias is Suite Elià, by the Piazza. Thanks to its renovation we can now see what once was the beautiful entrance of this XVII house with courtyard with elements from post Renaissance and pre Lecce Baroque.
